Wisconsin Fall Tourism Conference
Paddle ahead to the Wisconsin Fall Tourism Conference down by the rivers in Eau Claire, November 3 & 4, 2016. We're planning an exciting agenda that's sure to guide your organization forward, including our Destination Marketing in the Digital Age keynote by Aaron Nissen of Destination Think!. Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett will again join us and give us the latest from our Tourism Department, plus there will be breakout sessions on destination development, sports tourism, visual asset trends and management and more. A preliminary agenda is below.
Registration Rates & Policies: Registration will be available in early September. Early Bird Rates are $125 for WACVB members & $140 for non-members. To receive the early bird rate, registration must be competed by October 7, 2016. Rates are $145 and $160 after the 7th. No refunds will be provided for prepaid registrations after October 28, 2016.
Location & Lodging - The conference will be held at The Lismore Hotel, a new, boutique hotel in downtown Eau Claire. As of 9/30, the hotel is sold out Thursday, 11/3 but does have availability on 11/2. To make room reservations, call 715-835-8888 by October 3rd and ask for the $129/night WI Fall Tourism Conference rate. Another downtown lodging option is the Oxbow hotel, which is a short walk from the Lismore. Call 715-559-8553 or book online and ask for the $139 conference rate. Additional conference hotels and the conference rates are: Americas Best Value Inn ($59.95), Clarion Hotel ($84.00) and the Holiday Inn Express ($98.95)
