Alpacas and their owners gather for show ring competition classes and a fiber spin-off. They love to tell you about their animals and things made from alpaca fiber. In the showring, alpacas are judged on their fiber and conformation and compete for ribbons and production awards. The spin-off entries are judged by an expert spinner who makes yarn from the fleece samples and awards ribbons for the best spinnable fleece. Alpaca seminars will be offered, and vendors will be on hand with beautiful alpaca products. Free fun kids classes at lunchtime both days - any kid with access to an alpaca registered for the show is welcome to play! Fun and educational for the whole family.
