WAUKESHA
Head to the Waukesha County Museum July 10 – September 6, 2010 for the Marc: Sijan: Being Alive exhibit. Marc Sijan’s, a Milwaukee based artist, figures are incredibly lifelike, sensuous and graceful. In fact, they are so lifelike, they seem always on the verge of movement, a mere instant away from action. STEVENS POINT
 The new Stevens Point Sculpture Park is a 20-acre city park featuring woodlands, wetlands, ponds and prairie, along a nature trail. As a welcoming and accessible outdoor venue for the arts it is a community space mixing arts, nature and recreation, featuring rotating sculpture exhibits. FOX CITIES
Neenah Streetball is Wisconsin’s premier 3-on-3 basketball tournament. The tournament is June 12-13 and open to those 8 years and up. Popular activities open to the public are the Slam Dunk Contest, a Free Throw Contest and a Shoot 3 for a T Contest. The History Museum at the Castle’s newest exhibit is a celebration of local business, leisure activities and the hustle and bustle of downtown Appleton. GREEN BAY Head to the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay for the "New Hatching the Past: Dinosaur Eggs & Babies" exhibit. See an array of authentic dinosaur eggs and nests collected from all over the globe. Visitors can touch real dinosaur bones and reconstructed nests, dig for eggs, and view animated video presentations. See the discovery of "Baby Louie", the nearly complete skeleton of a dinosaur embryo. Exhibit runs June 5, 2010 through May 22, 2011. The Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival features 12 vintage Tall Ships will be held in downtown Green Bay on August 13-15. Two are international ships, the Roald Amundsen from Germany and the Europa from the Netherlands. MADISON
The NEW Madison Children’s Museum opens August 14th, 2010 on the Capitol Square. The museum will include The Community Concourse, The Early Learning Gallery for children 5 and under, a lunch room, art studio, an art meets science room and The Rooftop Terrace, a 4-season park and tree house environment.
Enjoy the Art Fair on the Square in Madison, July 10-11, 2010, the can’t-miss-it summertime destination for fine arts enthusiasts. DOOR COUNTY
Door County Maritime Museum's waterfront Sturgeon Bay facility opens their newest exhibit on May 23, 2010 highlighting haunted lighthouses of the Great Lakes. Nine lighthouses, including three from Door County, are featured in the original exhibit. Stories will be told of mysterious sounds, sights and other paranormal activity. WISCONSIN DELLS
The country’s largest outdoor waterpark, Noah’s Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells, is now home to the world’s largest looping waterslide - The Scorpion’s Tail. Riders careen through a ten-stories-high, 400-foot-long tube at speeds of up to 40 mph, with water, gravity and centrifugal force taking over the minute the floor drops out. Wisconsin Dells hosts the country’s only Waterslide-athon to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in nearby Madison. The annual event takes place Saturday, June 19 at Noah’s Ark Waterpark. A dollar will be donated each time someone slides down the Black Anaconda water roller coaster, the country’s first water coaster.
MANITOWOC The Jack Rennert’s Buffalo Bill Posters will be on exhibition at the Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc, WI May 22 – August 1, 2010. The 100 Posters of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West dramatize the West and make it real, vital and thrilling. Rennert’s collection of posters portray the life Buffalo Bill actually lived as an Indian fighter, Army scout guide, and buffalo killer.
